Rancho Cordova, Calif. – Visit Rancho Cordova, the official tourism organization for Rancho Cordova, recently celebrated one year in its new office location on Trade Center Drive. The occasion was marked by an official ribbon cutting ceremony that featured City of Rancho Cordova officials, local dignitaries and friends.
“We’re so thankful for the continuous support of the city, our business partners and the local community,” said Marc Sapoznik, chief executive officer/president of Visit Rancho Cordova. “This ribbon cutting signifies a new era for Visit Rancho Cordova. We’re building our team and positioning ourselves for a successful 2023 and future.”
Diann Rogers, president and chief executive officer of the Rancho Cordova Chamber of Commerce, presented Visit Rancho Cordova with an official proclamation during the ribbon cutting ceremony. A celebratory cake was designed and provided by Jewel Burgess of Cake Jewel Custom Cakes.
As part of the event, the Visit Rancho Cordova team held a holiday decorating competition in the office. Each department transformed their areas into a winter wonderland, featuring holiday-themed crime scenes, the Polar Express and a Charlie Brown Christmas. Guests at the ribbon cutting then voted for their favorite “holiday scene.” The Sales Department, with their holiday-themed crime scenes, won the competition. Their holiday crime scenes asked the questions, “Which reindeer ran over grandma?” and “Who melted Frosty the Snowman?”
“It was great to hold a formal gathering to celebrate our new location,” said Sapoznik. “Now more than ever, we’re charged up and ready to show why Rancho Cordova is a great place to visit and live in. We look forward to making more waves in the community soon.”
