The California Mermaid Convention Makes a Splash in May
Shell yeah! The California Mermaid Convention is back this year in Rancho Cordova and runs from Friday, May 19 to Sunday, May 21. Do you have your tickets yet?
Most convention events will take place at Cordova Community Pool in Hagan Community Park and will feature underwater mixers, exciting vendors, photo shoot opportunities, and interesting lectures for mermaid enthusiasts of all ages. It’s going to be a flipping good time!
The fun kicks off on Friday morning with mingling in the pool and a late-night launch party at Sacramento’s mermaid-themed Dive Bar. On Saturday evening, attendees are invited to the Bubble Ball and encouraged to wear their most elegant mermaid, pirate, sea creature, or black-tie attire for a shell-abration they won’t forget. The convention will oh-fish-ally wrap up after the Promenade of Mermaids march in Old Town Sacramento on Sunday morning, which is free for the whole family!
