In this gripping Sacramento premiere, conflict photographer Mia finds herself recovering in her on-again, off-again girlfriend’s Istanbul apartment after being discovered unconscious at a massacre she was documenting. With no memory of the event, Mia has sent photos of the scene just hours before her discovery. As tensions resurface between Mia and her girlfriend, the arrival of Mia’s well-intentioned Californian mother adds another layer of complexity as they all attempt to piece together the events leading up to the incident.
