Ottmar Liebert, a renowned guitarist, blends Spanish, Mexican, and World music influences, creating a unique sound characterized by strong melodies and upbeat rhythms. After starting his career in Germany and traveling through Asia, he settled in Santa Fe, where he formed his band, Luna Negra, in 1989. His debut album, Nouveau Flamenco, became a global success, recognized as the best-selling instrumental acoustic guitar album ever.
