Collective Concerns at the MACC
May 8, 2025
Head to the MACC, May 8-24 to explore the new art exhibit, "Collective Concerns."
12 contemporary artists present powerful small-scale works using collage and assemblage to reflect on today’s most pressing issues—climate change, COVID, grief, identity, and politics.
Crafted from discarded yet carefully selected materials, these intimate pieces range from whimsical to macabre, poetic to raw, offering bold commentary on environmental, emotional, and societal stressors.
Featured artists include Judy Bowman, Elaine Crivelli, Kristy Deetz, Virginia Derryberry, Reni Gower, Craig Hill, Errin Ironside, Sue Johnson, Axelle Kieffer, Alexandra N. Sherman, Edwin Shelton, and Michele Stutts.
