“While there is light at the end of this long tunnel, a shutdown will be devastating to our business community. Please continue to wear masks, maintain social distancing, and know your industry protocols. Your chamber alongside other regional organizations will continue to battle for additional federal funding, state resources, and fair treatment for all businesses.”Diann RogersPresident & CEO Rancho Cordova Area Chamber of Commerce
Covid-19 Resources
Sacramento County and the Greater Sacramento region, as designated by the State of California, Governor's Office, is under a regional shut-down and stay at home order. The Governor's order goes into effect when a region experiences less than 15% Intensive Care Unit (ICU) capacity/availability. The Greater Sacramento region began this lockdown on 12/10/2020 at 11:59 pm. This order is in effect for three weeks and will then be reevaluated, based on ICU capacity on a week by week basis thereafter. This order:
- Prohibits private gatherings of any size.
- Closes sector operations, excluding critical infrastructure and retail.
- Requires mask-wearing and social distancing.
Additionally, businesses have to comply with these restrictions.
