The facility offers kayaking, stand up paddle boarding (SUPs), hydro-bikes, sailing, windsurfing and more! It's also where RCTT sponsors a number of high profile regattas such as US Rowing Youth Nationals, Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championship and Pac-12 Championship.
So, I'm a local. Kate & Andy are locals, too. The thing that stood out to me about this day was how they were prepared for the entire day with only one bag. I'll admit; I am not the most efficient traveler for day trips or multi-day adventures. There is a reason I fly Southwest (and it rhymes with flags tie wheee). I just like options. Yet my day with Kate & Andy taught me I can still mix things up, be sun-ready, have the basics covered, and- very important- fit it all into one bag.
When you visit Rancho Cordova and head out on the lake, do you really want to have to run back to your hotel after a day on the water? Or feel like you have to carry your suitcase around town with you? No, of course not! So, take a rinse, throw on a cute cover and head out to Taste or a local winery. This is Northern California, after all. We're nothing if not casually chic. While, again, I have the bad habit of packing everything but my make-up table, Kate & Andy show us a different way. About a dozen travel-sized (and TSA-approved) basics later and we were off enjoying Andis Winery in gorgeous Amador County -true local style.
Andis Winery is about 30 minutes away from the lake and 5 minutes outside of Main Street in Plymouth. One of the best things about Andis? When you stay at a Rancho Cordova Travel & Tourism hotel, you receive complimentary tastings for two at Andis and 8 other wineries. That's an estimated value of $120, built into your stay!! To make things better? Let's say you didn't drive in and don't feel like Lyft'ing between these adult-grape juice gems; call up our friends at Limitless Limo. They'll make sure you receive excellent service and competitive rates. Tell them Leena at RCTT sent you ;)
