Sacramento State Aquatic Center
Grab a paddle and hit the water at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center. Lake Natoma Loop
If staying active on land is more your speed, the Lake Natoma Loop is a great place for hikers to get outside and stretch their legs. This paved 11.5-mile loop trails the banks of the American River and is an ideal place to spot local wildlife like blue herons and cormorant rookery.
Granite Arch Climbing Center
For those looking for a more challenging workout, Granite Arch Climbing Center offers indoor rock climbing and outdoor bouldering, with routes for all skill levels. Sign up for day passes, rent gear, and even receive guided instruction in one of many provided courses.
Golfing
Tee up good times and hit the greens in Rancho Cordova. Home to three beautiful golf courses, each course offers the perfect opportunity to get a bit of fresh air and exercise. Swing over to Ancil Hoffman Golf Course, and play a designer course developed by famous architect William Francis Bell. Or, hit the nearby Cordova Golf Course — a public course with options to play nine or 18 holes. And the Mather Golf Course at the former airforce base is the ideal spot to test your drive.

For those looking to relax and rejuvenate, Yoga at Soil Born is for you. Offered March through October, this outdoor yoga class takes place amongst the beautiful backdrop of Soil Born Farms. The 60-minute class is open to all experience levels and is the perfect place to slow down, connect, and find balance.
